The forums look really good @Mekki, very polished and professional. I love the dark theme, I use dark theme for Twitch as well, not only is it easier on the eyes but you are able to read font a bit easier for longer periods without as much eye strain.
If you have your own domain, you can point a subdomain to your Teamspeak.
Have a look at this guide for how to setup an SRV record so that it also points to the port. (So if your server connection detail is: tsfr.uhostpro.com:9999 your domain will account for the :9999 without the user having to type it in)
This is the first time I’ve ever even tried to run a server so my knowledge in this department is a little low. So is there a guide or something that shows how to upload and install mods for a 7d2d server?
So the server that we are running will not show up in the in game browser under favorites. But in the Steam servers list under favorites it does. Not sure where to go from here. Have done Steam update numerous times, and restarted the server numerous times as well. Any help would be appreciated.
@Mosquito Should be fixed, there was a space missing after the option, so it would show up like this;
-OnlyAdminRejoinAsSpectator-OutputGameReport (Which obviously isn’t recognized by the server)
It’s coming out like this now so it should be working;
0 Arma 3
13 Conan Exiles
About 4 days ago I ordered a 30-user Conan Exile server from uHost (Vegas location). Took about 8 hours to get my login information for the cpanel and I was able to set up my server right then. Ever since setting the server up the connection has been strong and only requiring server restarts once or twice a day. I am very happy with the service and would recommend uHost to anyone and everyone attempting to rent a server to play on.
I am absolutely LOVING the game. In a week I have 79 hours worth of playtime. The game itself is better than most survival games I have played in the past (Ark, Rust). The talent point system encourages working together and that is a huge plus for me. All rubberbanding, network issues, and bug crashes aside… A++ Game
How well do you role play? Well enough to take over the galaxy? Come check out HellionRP; complete with admins, rules, a website and obviously… a uHostPro server! Our discord group is active and growing everyday, the link to join in on the fun is on the website!
See you soon!
In the Configuration Editor for autoexec.cfg you’ll see Server Name:
To add color around words, wrap these around the words.
An example name, which can have multiple colors:
<color=#FF0000>Words</color> <color=#0000A0>Awesome Server</color>
What that would look like ingame:
Words Awesome Server
Some helpful colors codes:
White #FFFFFF (White #FFFFFF)
Gray or Grey #808080
Figure out what version of Forge Mod Loader you’d like. Depending on the mods you want to install you may need a particular version.
Go to; https://files.minecraftforge.net/
and download the Installer (windows) for the version you need.
Run the Installer for Server, install Forge Mod Loader to a folder you’ll be able to find.
Once the install is completed, open the folder you installed Forge Mod Loader to.
Rename the minecraftforge-universal-XXXX.jar file to minecraft_server.jar
Create a .zip file of the libraries folder, the minecraft_server_forgeVersion.jar and the minecraft_server.jar that you just renamed.
Login to your Control Panel for your Minecraft Server at http://panel.uhostpro.com
Navigate to the File Manager for your server and rename the Minecraft folder to MinecraftVanilla
Create a new folder called Minecraft
Navigate inside the Minecraft folder you just created.
Upload your .zip file containing the forge mod loader files.
Use the Extract tool in the Actions Column to extract the .zip file.
Delete the .zip file once all the files have been extracted.
